This deluxe set combines a locally made matcha cup by Helen Pedneault with an Aerolatte frother, bamboo scoop, sieve and Hachi Matcha Platinum.

Platinum is our most refined Hachi blend from Uji, Kyoto, made from Asahi, Uji Hikari and Samidori. Deep green, intensely savoury and layered with vegetal, forest-like notes, it is the matcha we reach for when the tea itself is the point.

Hachi Matcha Platinum — 20g or 40g

Best for:
Premium gifts, experienced tea drinkers, matcha obsessives, and adventurous beginners who see no reason to work their way up slowly.

How to prepare:
Sift ½–1 teaspoon of matcha into the cup. Add 2–4 oz of water at approximately 70–80°C and froth for about 15 seconds until smooth. Try it straight first. Platinum has plenty to say before you add milk.
