This starter kit pairs an easy modern setup with Hachi Matcha Gold, our richer, smoother and more umami-forward matcha from Uji, Kyoto.

Kit includes:
Sieve
Electric frother
Hachi Matcha Gold — 20g or 40g

Gold is blended from Samidori and Asahi and has the depth to make a lovely first impression straight with water, while still making an exceptionally rich latte. Think savoury, smooth and quietly luxurious rather than loud or bitter.

New matcha drinkers who want to start with something special, gift giving, and anyone who likes the convenience of an electric frother without compromising on the matcha itself.

How to prepare:
Sift ½–1 teaspoon of matcha into a cup or bowl. Add 2–4 oz of water at approximately 70–80°C and froth for about 15 seconds until smooth. Enjoy straight, or add steamed milk for a latte.
